At Doug Gobey Transport, we provide flexible, dependable haulage solutions tailored to your requirements. Whether you need a one-off delivery, dedicated transport, crane-assisted lifting or ongoing logistics support, our experienced team will ensure your goods are moved safely, efficiently and on schedule.
Operating a modern fleet ranging from 3.5-tonne vehicles to 44-tonne articulated lorries, including specialist crane vehicles, we transport everything from building materials and machinery to oversized and high-value loads.
Road Haulage
Our lime green lorries are seen all across the UK and Ireland, moving items of all shapes, sizes and quantities. From 3.5 to 44 tonnes, tail-lift or flatbed, we match the vehicle to the load.
Located in Broadway, Worcestershire, our range of road haulage vehicles varies in weight and capacity to offer the best solution for every job. A 3.5-tonne dropside reaches sites a lorry cannot, while the 44-tonne artic takes 26 pallets in a single run.
Full loads, part loads and multi-drop routes are all handled from the same depot, so you deal with one team from booking to delivery. Tail lifts on the smaller vehicles mean no forklift is needed at either end, and our curtain-siders keep goods dry and secure in transit.
We move building materials, machinery, shopfitting units, agricultural loads and palletised freight for businesses that need transport to arrive when it is supposed to.
Crane Hire
From day-to-day haulage to crane-assisted deliveries, our operated crane lorries are the lifting solution for heavy goods. Our double-drive vehicles feature remote-controlled cranes to load and unload safely, without needing separate lifting plant on site.
That saves you the cost and coordination of hiring a separate crane, and it means awkward deliveries can be completed by one vehicle and one operator. Cabins, steelwork, containers, plant, greenhouse structures and materials that cannot be handled by forklift are all within reach.
Every crane truck is inspected and maintained to a high standard and operated by fully trained, licensed staff. We assess each lift before we arrive, so the right vehicle and rigging are on site from the start.
The service suits construction, shopfitting and waste sector work, and combines with our haulage so goods can be collected, delivered and placed exactly where you need them.
Waste & Recycling
A licensed waste carrier moving recyclable and waste materials for the recycling industry, palletised or bulk. We hold a full waste carrier's licence, so materials are transported and documented correctly from collection through to their final destination.
Open dropsides and flatbeds handle loose and bulky material, curtain-siders take palletised waste streams, and our crane vehicles lift containers and skips that standard trucks cannot manage.
Roping and sheeting is carried out as standard where a load requires it. As with every service we offer, the job is planned around the load: the right vehicle, the right equipment, on time.
